"Dear friends and future friends, I would like to invite you to a new chapter in our events: LITERATI GATHERINGS.

The term “Literati” refers to the educated, who have an interest into the vast world of ideas and literature. Over the centuries, they would gather in intellectual circles that would be composed of scholars, poets, artists, and thinkers for whom the quest for truth and beauty was a way of life. Some romantic examples can be found in the Song and Ming dynasties in China, the Edo period in Japan, the Joseon period in Korea, the Renaissance in Europe or the Russian intelligentsia movements.

In Asia, these movements have a deep connection to tea, which is a beverage that awakens the senses and deepens the thoughts. The gatherings happened in tea houses surrounded by greenery or along riverbanks, to read and write poetry, contemplate nature, appreciate tea, fragrances and food, and engage in refined conversations about philosophy, literature, and art. I have often felt an attraction for those places and times I was not in, and over time this curiosity has guided my research and travels to find people who have kept those practices alive.

In recent years, I have started to understand that much of my work has been dedicated to reviving the spirit of the Literati movements, in a form that is informed by the past but rooted in the present and my hometown. For me, it has gradually become a way of life, and one that I think worthy of sharing in the times that we live in, to meet again and continue a dialogue from heart to heart.

So let us gather, and let me be your host for a refined moment. Through exceptional teas from my collection that open the senses and encourage a meditative mind, each gathering combines conversation around the theme of the evening with moments of silence, allowing us to immerse ourselves in a particular atmosphere and mood. It is about harmony filled with aesthetics and meaning. It is about beautiful objects and the stories behind them, and, on a deeper level, it is about tea and the Way of Tea."

Inspired by the success of our recent event "The Beginning of Autumn", we continue our series of cultural, aesthetic, and philosophical evenings, where, over a cup of fine tea, we slow down, leave the noise of everyday life outside, and enter a state of calm and inner stillness.

The theme of our upcoming gathering is “The Heart.” The heart as our inner center, a space of feeling and awareness, and a connection to a deeper part of ourselves - our true self. This theme holds a special place in our projects, and during this evening we will explore it gently and thoughtfully, creating the atmosphere of mystery, beauty, and aesthetics that, we believe, has made these gatherings so special.

In many Eastern traditions, the heart is understood as something much broader than simply an organ or a symbol of emotion. In Buddhist philosophy and contemplative practices, the concepts of heart and mind are closely intertwined and connected with awareness, compassion, and the ability to perceive our experience more clearly, without constant inner noise. Meditation, tea, and silence become simple tools that help us shift our attention, for a while, away from the continuous stream of thoughts and toward sensation, presence, and our own inner state.

The evening will unfold in two acts, each forming part of a single experience. The gathering will be accompanied by a tea ceremony, specially selected vegetarian treats, and a thoughtfully prepared thematic part exploring the subject of the evening. We will conclude with meditation, allowing everything we have heard and experienced to become not simply information, but a personal experience.

Dear friends, on September 13, we are holding an event dedicated to the very foundations of tea - to understanding what tea truly is in its deepest sense. As part of a series of classes created to explore tea culture in depth and from a professional perspective, this session lays the foundation for our understanding of this vast subject.

During one meeting, we will answer the key questions that concern both beginners and those who have already started their tea journey. We will talk about the history, philosophy, and role of tea in different cultures around the world; explore all major tea categories and examine their fundamental differences in production, brewing, and quality evaluation. We will also develop the ability to recognize subtle nuances of aroma and taste, as well as to observe our own state and sensations.

This event is a big masterclass designed to reveal the scale, diversity, and depth of tea culture in a concentrated and accessible way. It is a journey to the East, to places where people cultivate themselves and pursue the highest levels of mastery; where, by living in harmony with the world around us, we develop a sense of beauty and learn to be present in the here and now. TEA LIKE ART is not only about tea - it is about us. It is the art of looking into the past, living in the present, and creating our own future.

This year, our educational program has undergone several changes, becoming more concentrated, while the schedule has become more accessible and convenient. We have also decided to offer a 20% discount (60 EUR 75 EUR ) on all classes included in the TEA LIKE ART program, hoping to inspire more of you to join us on this journey.
